Tetris is one of the most iconic video games of all time. Created by Russian software engineer Alexey Pajitnov in 1984, this captivating puzzle game has stood the test of time and remains a favorite among gamers of all ages. The concept is deceptively simple: arrange differently shaped falling blocks (tetrominoes) to create complete horizontal lines which then disappear, giving you points and preventing the play area from filling up.

How to Play

Control the falling tetrominoes with your keyboard. Use the left and right arrow keys to move blocks horizontally, the up arrow to rotate pieces, and the down arrow to accelerate their descent. The goal is to arrange the pieces to create complete horizontal lines without gaps. When a line is complete, it disappears, and you earn points. The game speeds up as you progress, increasing the challenge. The game ends when the blocks stack up to the top of the playing field.
